Three Billy Goats Gruff

We visited Mrs. Shikany last week and learned about the Three Billy Goats Gruff! We went back for a second visit with her and were able to act it out using puppets. It was so fun!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

Every week we focus on a heart book! A heart book is a book that we learn by heart and can retell. Here are some pictures of our class acting out Brown Bear, Brown Bear.

Rainbow Hair

Our poem of the week last week was "Rainbow Hair." To go along with the poem, we used rainbow spelling to practice our names!

Second week is off to a great start!

We had a great day today, the students are starting to learn the routines and rules and we started implementing our behavior plan. Check out the pictures below of some of the things we did today!

We learned how to write in our journals. These journals are made monthly, and the students will use these journals to write first thing in the morning. At the end of each month you will get your child's monthly journal home to see how much they have grown throughout that month!

We talked about lining up quietly and walking through the hallways, we know how to keep that "bubble" in our mouth!

We had a great time at recess!

We also learned the proper ways to use snap cubes and worked on making AB patterns
